USA, Trump signs to leave the World Health Organization. Without America, China and Gates more powerful?

President Donald Trump announced Monday that he will withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization, in a drastic decision that is drawing criticism from public health experts on his first day back in the White House:

Trump has reportedly been critical of the United Nations health agency for a long time, and his administration formally began a withdrawal from the WHO in July 2020 , as the Covid-19 pandemic continued to spread. But four years ago, then-President Joe Biden blocked the United States of America's exit from the body tasked with coordinating the international response to health emergencies in one of his first actions after taking office in the White House. The text of Monday's executive order cites "the organization's mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic that erupted in Wuhan, China, and other global health crises, its failure to adopt urgent reforms, and its failure to demonstrate independence from inappropriate political influence of WHO member states" as reasons for the US withdrawal. In addition to China and the USA, at the top of the WHO's major donors we find the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the GAVI Alliance, the international organization created in 2000 to guarantee access to vaccinations to the poorest areas of the world. The US exit from the WHO could inevitably increase the influence of Beijing and Gates' organization on the World Health Organization. Link video:
